The season is winding down quickly, and with the cold temps tonight, I thought it would be fun to have an all-ages slalom race starting on Upper Mussel and going all the way to the Mussel finish! Pick up a bib at the start (skiers left on the Mussel Headwall) and drop a donation in the bucket – $10 suggested. Lift tickets are not included. All proceeds go towards purchasing new bibs for next year that can be used for U8-High School and the Sally Deaver race.

The course will open for inspection at 10:45. Take as many runs as you want from 11 – 1 pm. Fastest run counts. Awards (ribbons – sorry no big prizes this time) in front of the lodge at 2 pm. Please put your bibs in the bag at the finish when you are done racing.

Please note: the race will be run with very limited support – no gatekeepers, no course maintenance. I’ll take any help I can get – course clean-up, a starter, a bib collector in the finish… Let me know if you’re interested in helping.

If you can’t make it tomorrow, we’re going to run a family fun kombi on Half Hitch next Sunday, 4/2. Keep your eyes out for an announcement. This will be another fundraiser for new bibs, but also a fun costume race to celebrate the last day of lift operations for the season! Come out, have fun on the last day, and support local racing at the Snow Bowl!
